Born in Varna. Daughter of one of the first Bulgarian teachers with secondary education from Russia. Graduated from high school in Sofia and history in St. Petersburg. Long-time secondary school teacher in Shoumen and Sofia. Assistant professor at the l’Ecole des langues orientales vivantes in the Sorbonne, Paris (1933). Head of the Department at the Ministry of Education. Translator from Polish and Russian. Member of the Slav Society and of the Bulgarian Historical Society. Author of numerous historical studies. Chairlady and Deputy Chairperson of the Bulgarian Association of University Women (1924-1932).
