Milka Petrova-Koralova (1906-1944)

Born in Sofia. Daughter of the prominent feminist Elena Radeva. Graduated in pedagogy and philosophy at the Women’s Higher Pedagogical School in Sevre (1929). She had been working as a teacher in French. With her husband, the writer Emil Koralov, founded and edited the children’s Vessela Druzhina (A band of Joy) newspaper (1933-1944). Publishes  adventure novels, translates children’s fiction from English, French and German. Writed stories and travel books, published the novel Sama po sveta. Stranstvaniata na edno momiche (Alone around the world. The travelling of a Girl) about children and adolescents (1935).
