Alexandra Bujilova was born in Chisinau on October 8, 1960. She is a great anthropologist, director of the Institute of Anthropology and Museum of Anthropology, Moscow State University “M. Lomonosov”, PhD in Historical Sciences, Corresponding Member of the Academy of Sciences of Russia. She is a member of the editorial board of ASR “Russian Archeology” magazine, a member of the editorial board of the European Human Evolution magazine, member of the American Association of Physical Anthropology, member of the International Paleontological Association, etc.
